How we use AI — and what you will notice this year

AI has become a big part of everyday life. For us, that was reason enough last year to take a serious look at what AI could mean for xYnta — for our services, our systems and the way we help you. Not to change things for the sake of it, but because there are real opportunities to make things better.

People first — always

One thing was clear to us from the start: when you call, chat or email us, you always speak to a real person. No chatbots, no automated replies that send you around in circles before you reach someone. AI helps us in the background — to work faster, to spot problems earlier and to build better services. But your contact with us stays human.

Helios — our new monitoring system

The first major result of our AI plans is Helios — a completely new monitoring system that we built in less than a month. Where we used to write this kind of software ourselves and spend months on it, AI helped us move faster and further than ever before.

Helios continuously monitors our servers and recognises potential issues before they turn into real problems. In half of all cases, we can now prevent an outage before you even notice anything. A number of server customers have already taken part in the beta and receive alerts from the system when something on their server looks like it might go wrong.

Helios also forms the foundation of two things you may already know:

  • Our new status page — with clear, up-to-date information about the status of our services.
  • The website check tool on our website — which you can use to quickly check whether there is an issue with your website or the hosting environment it runs on.

What else is coming?

Helios is just the first step. More is on the way later this year:

  • A new backup system for server customers
  • Orbit — our brand new customer panel, which will give you a completely new way to manage your services this summer. We will tell you more about this soon.

We are not standing still — and we have a lot more in store for you this year. We will keep you informed via our blog, our emails and our social channels. Do you have questions or would you like to know more about anything? Feel free to contact us.
