Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about outages, status notifications and what to do if you suspect a problem.

Start by checking the live status on this page. If you see an issue listed for one of our components, we may already be aware of the problem.

If everything looks normal but you are still experiencing issues, the cause may be in your own environment. Please follow the outage troubleshooting guide in our knowledge base for further steps, or contact us.

The live status reflects whether our systems are currently operating normally — this is updated automatically. An official notification is a message we publish ourselves when we have confirmed an outage or scheduled maintenance.

It is possible for the live status to show a problem before we have finished our assessment and published an official notification.

We aim to publish a notification as soon as we have confirmed an outage. We start with a brief initial notification and update it as we gather more information about the cause and the progress of the resolution.

You can sign up for e-mail notifications via xyntastatus.com. You choose what you want to follow — subscribe to a service to receive a notification for every new outage or maintenance affecting that component, or subscribe to a specific notification to receive updates for that individual event only.

Scheduled maintenance involves work that may temporarily affect the availability or performance of a service. We announce this at least 72 hours in advance — in most cases two to three weeks ahead. Where disruption is expected, we plan the work outside of business hours where possible.

Emergency maintenance is an exception to this. These are tasks that cannot wait and may be scheduled for the same or the following day.

Via xyntastatus.com you can view the notification history for the past 30 days, 3 months or 6 months. For each component you can also view a week-by-week overview of the past 3 months, including the uptime percentage achieved each month.

Transparency is central to how we work. If something goes wrong, we explain what happened and what steps we are taking to prevent it from happening again.
