With regular hosting, you share a server with other customers and have no guaranteed resources. A Managed VPS is your own virtual server reserved exclusively for you — with dedicated CPU, memory and storage.

We handle all management: monitoring, maintenance, security and configuration. You get the freedom of a dedicated server for your websites and applications, without any technical knowledge.

Managed means we take full responsibility for the technical management of your server. You do not need to install updates, configure security settings or monitor server logs yourself — we do that for you.

In practice this includes: proactive monitoring on 100+ data points, monthly maintenance and security updates, configuration optimisation and resolving server issues. You receive an automatic monthly report of all work carried out.

After ordering, we deliver your server in most cases within one business day. We set it up completely: control panel, security, software and all required configuration.

You will receive a welcome e-mail with all login details as soon as your server is ready. Do you have a specific configuration requirement? Please contact us — we are happy to tailor the setup to your situation.

Yes, daily backups are included with every package. Every night we create a full backup of your server and store it off-site in a separate data centre. By default we retain 7 restore points.

You restore files yourself via the client portal — selectively per file or database, or as a full server restore. Backups are also downloadable as an archive. Would you like more frequency or longer retention? This is easy to expand via our backup options.

Every package comes with DirectAdmin Legacy as standard — a user-friendly control panel for managing websites, e-mail addresses, databases and DNS.

Would you prefer DirectAdmin Standard or one of the Plesk editions? Simply select this when ordering. We install and configure the control panel for you, so you can get started straight away.

In most cases we migrate your websites, e-mail and databases free of charge to your new server. You fill in the migration form as a starting point — we then contact you and draw up a migration plan together.

Do you have a DirectAdmin or cPanel environment with root or admin access? In most cases the migration will go completely smoothly. For more complex situations, we look together at what is possible.

You can upgrade your package at any time. We handle the migration without your environment needing to go offline.

There are also various add-ons available: additional software such as LiteSpeed or CloudLinux, more extensive backup solutions or extra remote-hands time. Would you like more management than the standard level? Take a look at our management options — from Manage Core to Manage Pro.

Remote-hands support is technical assistance at server level — such as installing software, adjusting configurations or carrying out other tasks that require root access.

Every package includes 1 hour per month as standard. Do you need more on an occasional or structural basis? This is easy to add. For more extensive management, you can also choose Manage Plus or Manage Pro.
