xYnta acquires Hosting on Demand

Over the past few years, we have worked hard to improve our services and service delivery, while simultaneously preparing for further growth. This ensures we can continue to serve you as an independent, reliable, and customer-focused hosting provider well into the future.

Today marks the next step: we are proud to announce that xYnta has acquired Hosting on Demand, a hosting provider based in Alphen aan den Rijn. Over the coming months, we will gradually integrate Hosting on Demand's services into our existing offering.

A natural fit

Hosting on Demand has built a strong reputation over the years as a provider of domain names, hosting, and server services, backed by excellent customer support. The strong similarities between both companies made this acquisition a logical choice for us.

Growing independently, with customers first

This acquisition strengthens our position within the Dutch hosting market. While many of our peers have been acquired by large investment firms or hosting collectives in recent years, we have made a deliberate choice to grow entirely independently, without external investors. Our customers come first: we continue to improve our services and support, do not automatically index prices, and only raise our rates when our suppliers do the same. We also aim for an average response time of approximately 30 minutes on emails, tickets, and chat messages.

This acquisition marks our first major milestone of 2025, with more developments in the pipeline — including our new customer control panel Orbit, more on that soon.

What does this mean for Hosting on Demand customers?

We have already informed Hosting on Demand's customers by email and replaced the old, outdated website with a new version. This sets the gradual integration of Hosting on Demand into xYnta in motion. Familiar elements, such as the HoD customer control panel and its associated support email address, will remain available for the time being.
