On 3 March, xYnta turned 22. A good moment to look back — but also to look at what can be improved. With the launch of our new website, we have rewritten all of our legal documents.
Why did we do this?
It may not sound like the most exciting topic — but it does matter. Legal documents set out the agreements between you and us. So it makes sense that they are clear and that you can understand what they say. No difficult words, no long sentences that require a second read.
Which documents have been updated?
- General terms and conditions
- Data processing agreement — the document that explains how we handle personal data
- Privacy statement
- Cookie policy
- Notice-and-takedown procedure — what you can do if unlawful content appears online
What does this mean for you?
All existing customers will receive an email with an overview of the changes. We will also ask you to agree to the new terms via Mijn xYnta. The new terms apply immediately for new customers and from 1 June 2026 for existing customers.
Do you have questions about the new documents or would you like more explanation about anything? Feel free to contact us — we are happy to help.
